With embedded cloud protocols such as MQTT, OPC UA server and client, APIs, and TLS encryption, our Industrial IoT-enabled logic and motion controller, the Modicon M262, connects directly to the cloud and pushes data to the EcoStruxure Machine Advisor while handling cybersecurity.
As an edge controller, it delivers benchmark performance through 3 nanoseconds/installation for logic applications, as well as up to 24 synchronized axes (4 milliseconds) or 8 axes (1 millisecond) (for motions with integrated motion controllers). With its dual-core CPU, it efficiently manages parallel applications and communications.
