The N3K-C3548P-XL is a high-density, ultra-low latency 1U rack-mountable switch from the Cisco Nexus 3500 Series, purpose-built for performance-critical data center deployments. As an "XL" (Extended Memory) variant, it features an upgraded 2.5 GHz CPU, 16 GB DRAM, and 16 GB bootflash, enabling robust support for large routing tables, advanced telemetry, and the Cisco NX-OS Data Management Engine (DME). This switch is optimized for Top-of-Rack (ToR) leaf-spine architectures, high-frequency trading (HFT), and cloud environments requiring sub-microsecond latency and 48-port 10G density.
